The Crownery Chinese Restaurant

Located in Lantana Square, Hockessin, Delaware.
Phone #: 302-239-3825
Website: http://www.crownery.com

Experience: I'm going to say that to this date, this is the best chinese food you can get in Delaware or Northern Delaware. Happy Garden or No. 1 Chinese ain't got shit on this place. This is also a nice ass restaurant too, you can take a girl on a date here or just pick something up for lunch/dinner. Of course the price for lunch specials are around $7 and the dinner entrees are around $15-25, but you're paying for that banger shit, not that fast food chinese wackness. Last week I ordered a Curry Chicken from Happy Garden and the curry was too watered down w/ little taste and the chicken was still pink. Veggies were prob. frozen too, but that's what you get when the whole thing cost less than $5 krills. But I went with my mom and brothers to The Crownery yesterday for lunch and got some Fried Crispy Jumbo Prawns w/ Pepper, some shredded beef with vegetables, and spicy chicken with vegetables, and that shit is the hot jawnzzzzz. Whole bill came up to be about $45 w/ rice and tea included. GO there and eat that shiiiiiiiiiiit!!!

Price: Definitely not cheap, but it ain't expensive. Lunch specials are about $6-$7. Dinner Entrees are about $15-25.

Service: Good service, nice friendly people and I actually grew up with two of the kids who's parents run the restaurant; Mark and Mike Chan. But I'm not being biased in any way, the food talks for itself.
